Judy has been involved in the creative arts for many years. From
1964 - 1985 she worked in ABC TV production which included producing
and directing programs for the ABC Childrens Department. Although
this was a demanding career, she studied painting and drawing continually
during this time and had her 1st exhibition in 1982.
After leaving the ABC she did freelance TV research, plus researched,
planned and wrote stories for magazines, 'Australian Country Style'
and 'Australia To-Day'. Fro the last 10 years she has devoted her
time to her greatest love, her art career.
Judy likes using high key colours. She taps into her imagination
which can lead into fantasy, even surrealism at times.
Using mixed media, collage with even cut-out images, the work often
suggests a dream state, mostly reflecting the lighter side of life.
